I spent this weekend productively. NOT! Finals start this Wednesday and I am just NOT FOCUSED! It's not so much that I have a lot of big finals. It's more that I don't have any borderline grades so it wouldn't make a difference. And I'm rather okay with that, but let's just say everyone in my life needs to CHILL OUT ABOUT MY LIFE. *issues* *issues*

Another thing that's making me really unhappy is Honey and Clover. It's amazing, but it's not full scanlated or released in the U.S. yet! I guess I should just watch the anime, because usually if I read the manga first I find myself uninterested in the anime. It's actually a lot more amazing than I expected.

P.S. Yes, I still haven't fixed up my LJ and made it an active blog. involute help!!!

I baked macarons for my mom's birthday yesterday. They're just plain flavored but I added food coloring. They're not perfect yet but this is my most successful batch so far! I am obsessed with macarons~

I never really endorsed a candidate, but I'll put it this way: I didn't endorse McCain. Since I'm not even old enough to vote yet, truthfully I don't follow politics that closely, but hey I still do read up.

Not sure who reads this besides involute but I'm aiming to start blogging again. I think it's been like a 1.5 year hiatus now... I just don't know if I'd prefer something else over livejournal. gasp?

This past year has been so odd, I can't even begin to explain. I feel like it's taken a huge toll on my [mental] health and whatnot. I don't want this year to end yet though because I feel like I've left so many things unfinished. And yes, I tend to think of a year as starting from September- isn't that only natural for a student?
I'm hoping that I'll be able to get off my ass this summer and work on my LJ. I think I miss blogging. So to start off, I'm making a Summer To-Do List:

1) Work at learning center
2) Work at movie theatre? <---already interviewed
3) Summer school? <---can i make a last-minute comeback??
4) Take singing lessons
5) Take voicework lessons
6) Take some sort of music composition workshop
7) Dye my hair pink <---already have the dye, but my mom changed her mind...must negotiate!
8) Get closer to my man crush <---Hell, at this point I'll settle for friends...
9) Figure out how I feel about my group of "friends"
10) Get addicted to every shonen series that I've been avoiding <---Because before I could only handle one long-running shonen series. And that was Naruto.

How weak I am. How I've accepted that it's okay to run away. Am I really better than that?

Holy shit. I started watching Evangelion on Saturday and I just finished The End of Evangelion. I'm at a loss for words... man that sounds cliché.

But I'm so glad I got around to watching it. I mean I haven't seen a lot of the older classic animes so this was the first one I tackled.

In case anyone is looking to watch all of the episodes in Japanese with English sub, Google video and this odd website have them. On Google video, the episodes are at a very small and slightly uncomfortable size, but hey- I survived it for hours straight. You can maximize it for a slightly pixelated screen though.
[EDIT]The 2nd website is the only place where I've been able to find all of The End of Evangelion subbed English. You can find the first half of The End of Evangelion on youtube, thank god.[/EDIT]

I'm not in the mood to talk about Christmas yet, lol. The fact that the first entry I've posted in awhile is about Evangelion is um... interesting.

So one thing I hate about LJ in general is how hard it can be to search through posts, lol. I was wondering if anyone could help me find one scan I remember from recently.  The magazine was in Los Angeles and featured places where they shopped. I think they went to Urban Outfitters too.

I've never really been a fan of these candies but I just realized it's cause all the packs I've ever gotten were hard. I bought a big bag of their new warm-dessert inspired candies, the baked cinnamon apple one. mmmmmm...it's really quite amazing, they even have these crunchy things so it's as if it's really baked.  lol had to share them!

P.S.  AW that's HELLA tight!  I just realized you can drag-and-drop the random pictures on the site. XD

I hope everyone enjoyed their Monday off. I'm watching the Golden Globes right now.
Actually I've had an extra-long weekend, Thursday and Friday were snow days! The Northwest has had an amazing winter so far with the windstorm and everything...
And it's supposed to snow tonight after midnight!
I've pretty much spent this weekend on anime & manga. This one anime that I've been hoping would get subbed, it did, so I finished the series. It's called Kamichu! and I highly recommend it. It has really good animation and it's a little slow-paced but not slow. (Sorry I get attached to my shows and defensive!)

Well truthfully I'm not really sure how much I'll be using my livejournal at the moment, because I already have a blog here but the hosting will soon die.
